Emerald city Frankie 2017

Alexia Rós Gylfadóttir and I took part in the Monster Charity project 2017. 40 artists got sent Frankenstein busts and each created a custom themed bust to be sold at an auction in October, all the profit will go to Make a Wish Foundation UK.

We themed our Frankenstein as Emerald City from the Wizard of Oz. At first we wanted to grow our own crystals and attach to the Frankenstein Bust, the crystal growing did not go as planned so we had to improvise and quickly carved out some crystals out of soap. Made silicone moulds and created a bunch of Resin crystals. Harriet Lansdown base coated the bust and I painted it and finished it off with a glossy varnish.
