The Biker Scout Helmet Project 2016

I was part of a Charity Project endorsed by LucasFilm Ltd called the Biker Scout Helmet Project where 40 different Props Companies and Freelancers make their own customized Biker Scout Helmets. The Helmets will be displayed at the Star Wars Celebration 2016 Europe and later sold at an auction were all the money raised will go to Make-A-Wish UK. I Project Managed the Making of the Helmet together with Tomas Marin. Our team from Northbrook College Prop Making and SFX worked from Sharon Huls Howl's Moving Castle inspired Concept Design.
The Helmet model is made from Vac form pieces supplied by RS Prop Masters. It is fiber glassed inside with metal feet leading into an internal metal structure. The helmet is patterned off with individual plates made of Craft foam. Other parts of the helmet are made of styrene, foams, Milliput, Super Sculpey and other material.
